Terrence O'Connor

Biography

Terrence O'Connor is the actress who played Chief Ross in Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Terrence has also been featured/billed under the name Terry O'Connor. She played the female lead in "Breaker/Breaker" with Chuch Norris as well as the female lead in "No Tears for Julian". The majority of O'Connor's credits are television guest appearances. In 1973, she and fellow Star Trek performers Paul Comi, Robert Pine, and Meg Wyllie guest-starred in an episode of Cannon called "A Well Remembered Terror". O'Connor followed this with two appearances on Emergency!, a medical drama which featured Vince Howard as a regular cast member. Further TV appearances include an episode of Ellery Queen with Janet MacLachlan, two episodes of Quincy, starring Robert Ito and Garry Walberg, an episode of The A-Team with series regular Dwight Schultz and fellow guest star Marc Alaimo, and an episode of St. Elsewhere with series regulars Chad Allen, Jeff Allin, Ed Begley, Jr., Norman Lloyd, Deborah May, Brian Tochi, Alfre Woodard, and Jane Wyatt. More recently, she appeared in the Melrose Place episode "Michael's Game" (1994) with Famke Janssen and the ER episode "The Match Game" (1996) with Bill Cobbs and Megan Gallagher. She also had a role in the 1996 made-for-TV movie Norma Jean & Marilyn, starring Ashley Judd and Paul Sorvino's daughter, Mira. This movie's cast also included Jeffrey Combs, Steven Culp, and John Rubinstein. Terrence O'Connor has also performed in theatre, "The Great White Hope" on Broadway with James Earl Jones, leads in the New Jersey Shakespeare Festival as well as The Old Globe Shakespeare Theatre in San Diego, Los Angeles Shakespeare Theatre, and The Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum. She has performed in 99 seat-Equity theatre throuhout Los Angeles. Terrence met her husband, British actor Christopher Neame while performing in the Ahmanson's production of "Patriot for Me". Terrence received the first Drama-Louge Award presented in Los Angeles for her performance as Anastasia in "Anastasia". She later received another Drama-Louge Award for Lizzy in "The Rainmaker".
